As part of the continuing expansion of its Japanese operation, Park Systems Corp. has appointed Dr. Mineharu Suzuki as General Manager of Park Systems Japan (PSJ). Dr. Suzuki will succeed Shinsuke Sugiura who will remain as a senior advisor to the company. He will be responsible for PSJ’s operation including sales and marketing for all of Park Systems’ Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) products. 

“We are thrilled about having Suzuki-san to PSJ team,” said Dr. Ryan Yoo, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. “Sugiura-san contributed heavily to establishing the presence of Park Systems in the Japanese market and a strategic customer base for our key AFM products. He will be greatly missed. At the same time, Suzuki-san’s extensive background in AFM community will be a significant asset to our growing business in Japan. I am confident that our Japanese customers will enormously benefit from this new appointment."

Dr. Suzuki received his PhD in engineering from Kyoto University. He spent over 20 years at NTT Laboratories as a researcher and department manager before taking up a position as a Fellow at ULVAC-PHI. Park Systems Japan distributes and supports AFMs and accessories manufactured by Park Systems. Park Systems Japan is located in 1-17-1 Kanda-Nishikicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
