Scanning Probe Microscopy of van der Waals materials and structures
The University of Sheffield and Park Systems UK would like to invite all interested researchers to discuss both practical and theoretical aspects of investigating 2D and related materials with scanning probe techniques.
With this workshop on the 23 May 2023 at the Department of Physics and Astronomy in Sheffield, UK, we hope to create a stimulating and interesting environment to exchange ideas and present novel information on investigating structural and functional phenomena happening in the 2D world. A session of invited talks will be followed by live demo session on the Park FX40 automated AFM.
We hope this new platform will be of interest to both students and more experienced scientists.
Date: 23 May 2023
Time: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
Venue: Lecture Theatre 10 (H Floor - Room H10), Hicks Building, Hounsfield Rd, Broomhall, Sheffield S3 7RH, United Kingdom
The on-site event is free of charge, open to all interested scientist and requires a registration in advance.
Deadline: 05 May 2023
A special THANK YOU to Professor Alexander Tartakovskii from the Department of Physics and Astronomy for hosting this event.
