For almost 40 years the International Conference on Organized Molecular Films (ICOMF) has brought together chemists, physicists, biologists, material scientists, polymer scientists, chemical engineers, and researchers from all over the world with a shared interest in thin films. About ICOMF:

First established in 1982, the event started under the title LB Conference and alternately takes place in Asia, the Americas and Europe. Since then, the conference brings together a diverse international community spanning from medical science through biology, chemistry, and physics into the area of engineering.
